Holland Scholarship for International Students 2015

Holland Scholarship, financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, is for international students from outside the European
Economic Area (EEA) who want to do their bachelor’s or master’s at one of the 48 Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences in Holland.

Scholarship value/inclusions:
The scholarship amounts to €5,000 in the first year of your study.

Eligibility:
• Your nationality is non-EEA.
• You are applying for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s at one of the participating Dutch higher education institutions.
• You meet the specific requirements of the institution of your choice.
• You have never before studied at an education institution in the Netherlands.

Application instructions:
You need to apply directly at the participating Dutch higher education institution of your choice, starting
16 February 2015 and must apply before 31 March 2015.

Turkey Scholarships for International Students 2015

Türkiye Scholarships are for successful international students from all over the world for undergraduate and
postgraduate studies in Turkey.

The scholarship includes monthly stipend (600 TL for undergraduate, 850 TL for master and 1200 TL for PhD), full tuition fee, free 1-year Turkish language course, free accommodation, round-trip air ticket,
and health insurance.

Eligibility:
To be eligible for Undergraduate Programmes,
applicants must:
• be a citizen of a country other than Turkey (Anyone holding or ever held Turkish citizenship before cannot apply),
• not be a registered student in Turkish universities at the level of study they are applying,
• be/ have graduated or are likely to graduate from a secondary education institution,
• be under the age of 21 (no earlier than 01.01.1994),
• have at least specified (% 90 for medical sciences, % 70 for other undergraduate programs) cumulative
grade point average, diploma grade, national exam or international exam score,
• be in good health

To be eligible for Postgraduate Programmes,
applicants must:
• be a citizen of a country other than Turkey (Anyone holding or ever held Turkish citizenship before cannot apply)
• not be a registered student in Turkish universities at the level of study they are applying.
• be a bachelor’s or master’s degree holder by 30th of July 2015 at the latest
• be under the age of 30 for master’s programmes (no earlier than 01.01.1985)
• be under the age of 35 for doctorate programmes (no earlier than 01.01.1980)
• have at least 75 % cumulative grade point average or diploma grade over their maximum graduation grade or have at least 75 % success in any accepted national or international graduate admissions test.
• be in good health

Applications for Undergraduate, Master and PhD programmes will be received through the same application cycle starting from 25 February-31
March 2015.

Turkey International Scholarships 2015

University of West London International Ambassador Scholarships

The University of West London International Ambassador Scholarship provides financial support for outstanding students who wish to act as ambassadors for the University of West London.

Scholarships are worth up to £5,000

Eligibility:
Students are eligible to apply for the scholarship if they have been offered a place to study on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University of West London, commencing in September 2015.

York University Entrance Scholarships 2015

York University Ontario, Canada offers Global Leader of Tomorrow Scholarships, United World College Scholarships and International Entrance Scholarships specifically for
international students who would like to take a full-time undergraduate degree at University of York.

Field of study:
Any full-time undergraduate degree program in one of the following Faculties: Arts, Media, Performance
& Design; Environmental Studies; Glendon; Health;
Lassonde School of Engineering; Liberal Arts & Professional Studies; Science; and the Schulich School of Business.

Scholarship value/inclusions:
Global Leader of Tomorrow Award: $68,000 ($17,000 x 4 years)
United World College Scholarship $112,000 ($28,000 x 4 years)
International Entrance Scholarships: $112,000 ($28,000 x 4 years)

Scholarships are renewable for three years of full-time undergraduate study, provided high academic standing is maintained in each academic year.

Eligibility:
To be considered for International Scholarships & Awards, you must:

• Submit a formal application for undergraduate admission to York University either by the OUAC website or York online application for September entry.

• Be an international student who is required to have a Study Permit to study in Canada.

• Be nominated for the award(s) by your high school.
Note that a student can be nominated for more than one award, however only one nominee per school will be considered for each award.

• Be entering directly from high school (no more than two years after graduation) to the first year of a full-
time undergraduate degree program in one of the following Faculties: Arts, Media, Performance & Design; Environmental Studies; Glendon; Health; Lassonde School of Engineering; Liberal Arts & Professional Studies; Science; and the Schulich School of Business.

• Possess an excellent academic record (“A” average or equivalent) and have demonstrated leadership
through community service or excellence in the arts, sports or other areas of individual achievement.

• Submit required application documentation. Refer to the “Required Supporting Documentation” checklist on the application form

• Specific to York’s United World College Scholarship:

You must be enrolled in or must have graduated within the past two years from a United World College to qualify for this scholarship Application instructions:
