Bocconi University Scholarships 2015

Bocconi University in Milan, Italy offers need-based scholarships to international students enrolling in any Bachelor’s
Program or Master of Science Program at Bocconi university.

Field(s) of study:
All Bachelor’s Degree Programs or Master of Science Program offered at the University

Scholarship value/inclusions:
Full tuition waiver worth up to € 11,000 per year (maximum of 3 years) for Bachelor’s Program and up to € 12,000 per year (maximum of 2 years) for Master’s of Science Program.

Eligibility:
Applicants for the first year of a Bocconi Bachelor’s/Master program who are neither a resident or citizen of Italy nor have earned an Italian High School diploma/Undergraduate Degree in Italy or abroad.

Application instructions:
Applicants must complete and submit the online Bocconi Scholarship online application form.
The application is to be submitted online by the same date as the online admission’s application.

KTH Royal Institute of Technology Sweden Tuition Waivers

KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden offers tuition fee waivers to students from non-EU/EEA/EFTA countries who are required to pay
tuition fees and who has applied for a Master’s programme at KTH as first priority.

Scholarship value/inclusions:
Tuition fee waiver for the total length of the programme which is either 1 year/60 ECTS or 2 years/120 ECTS.

As the tuition fee waiver only covers
the tuition fee, living costs will need to be covered by the student.

Eligibility:
The scholarships are open to citizens from non-EU/EEA/EFTA countries who are required to pay tuition fees and who has applied for a Master’s programme at KTH as first priority.

Application instructions:
The online application to KTH Tuition Fee Waiver opens 1 December 2014.
Before you submit an online application to the KTH Tuition fee waiver you must first submit an
application to a KTH Master’s programme at universityadmissions.se.
No further documents are required
than those submitted as part of your Master’s programme application.

Lund University Global Scholarship 2015

The Lund University Global Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship programme that recognizes top academic students from outside the European Union/European Economic Area (and Switzerland).

Field(s) of study:
All Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Programmes offered at the University

The scholarships may cover 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% of the tuition fee. Please note that scholarships are toward tuition fees only and that living costs are not
covered.

Eligibility:
To be eligible to apply for a scholarship you must meet all of the following criteria:
• You must be a citizen of a country from outside the EU/EEA (and Switzerland) and are required to pay a
tuition fee
• You have applied for Bachelor’s or Master’s level studies in the regular application rounds for a minimum of one semester of study (30 ECTS)

Application instructions:
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY if you do not meet the admission requirements to Lund University or if you cannot secure the funding needed to cover living costs, as required by the Swedish Migration
Board.

To apply for a Lund University Global Scholarship, you must first apply for the programme(s) or free- standing course(s) you wish to study at Lund
University using the online, national application website, www.universityadmissions.se during the
application time for autumn semester studies.

You then complete the LU Global Scholarship online application where you need to upload your scholarship “motivation letter” (maximum 500 words).

ENS International Selection Scholarships 2015

Annually, École Normale Supérieure (ENS) organizes an international selection allowing the most promising international students, either in Science or in Humanities, to follow a two or three-year Masters Degree at the University.

Field(s) of study:
Selected Masters Courses in Science or Humanities (Note: In Humanities, courses are in French. In Sciences, they are in French or in English, depending
on the department.)

International students
Scholarship value:
A monthly stipend of 1,000 Euros

Eligibility:
• Candidates must be aged no more than 24 on the date of registration.
• Candidates must not have applied to the International Selection before.
• Candidates must declare that they have not lived in France more than 5 months during the academic year of the selection (September 1 – August 31) nor
the previous year.
• Candidates must show proof of a diploma or certification awarded by a foreign university during the calendar year preceding the start of applications,
which indicates that the candidate has completed at least one year of undergraduate studies. On rare
occasions, the school may authorize applications from candidates whose academic background is non-
standard.
• Candidates must show proof of a diploma or certification, indicating that the candidate will have completed at least two years of undergraduate
studies on the 1st of September following admission.

The Faculty of Science of the University of Geneva, in tandem with sponsors, established an Excellence Fellowship Program to support outstanding and highly motivated candidates who

University of Manitoba Graduate Scholarships 2015

The University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowships (UMGF) are merit-based awards that are open to students of any nationality who will be registered as
full-time graduate students (Masters or PhD) at the University of Manitoba.

Any graduate degree programs offered by the University (except those in the Faculty of Medicine and in the Master of Business Administration – MBA)

All students regardless of citizenship are eligible to apply.

The value of these fellowships is $18,000 (Ph.D.) and is $14,000 (Master’s) for a 12 month period. Students are eligible to receive the UMGF for the first 24
months of their Master’s program and the first 48 months of their PhD program.

Students with a minimum GPA
of 3.75 (above B+) at a recognized university based on a Bachelor, Masters, Graduate Diploma or a Doctoral degree.

Please use admissions criteria in
calculating GPA, i.e., last 60 credit hours or equivalent.

You must also meet the specific eligibility criteria set by the Department/Faculty, if any.

University of Gothenburg Study Scholarships 2015

The University of Gothenburg Study Scholarship is aimed at applicants who have to pay tuition fees for their studies at the University of Gothenburg.

Mainly for Master programmes starting in the academic year 2015/2016.

Any Masters Programme offered at the University qualifies for the scholarship

Citizens from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland are entitled to apply

The scholarship covers the tuition fee for the student’s study programme.

Please note that it cannot be used for living expenses, housing etc.

Eligibility:
The scholarship is for students who have to pay tuition fees when they study in Sweden and for those who have made an application at
university.se with a last application date of 15 January to one of the Master’s programmes
offered by the University of Gothenburg beginning autumn semester 2015.

Full or partial reduction of the tuition fee.

Those eligible to apply for these scholarships are non EU/EEA students applying for a Master’s degree programme at Umeå University AND students who have Umeå University as priority 1 at universityadmissions.se.

Ampère Excellence Scholarships 2015

The Ampère Scholarships of Excellence provide excellent international students with the opportunity to pursue one of the eligible Masters programs offered at ENS de Lyon in the Exact Sciences, the Arts or the Humanities and Social
Sciences (excluding Professional Masters in teaching)

Note: Most courses are taught in French

Scholarship value is 1000€/month for a duration of 12 months (renewable)

You must be a foreign national and must be 26 years old maximum at the application deadline.

• Candidate for admission in Masters Year 1: provide proof that you have obtained a Licence (equivalent to 180 ECTS European credits) or an equivalent
diploma/level recognized by the ENS deLyon.

Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarships 2015/2016

Google offers The Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship for women in Europe, the Middle East and Africa to study in the field of computing and
technology for Bachelors, Masters or PhD degrees in 2015/2016 for courses relating to Computing and Technology

Multiple scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of candidates’ academic performance, leadership experience and demonstrated passion for computer science.

Candidates must:
Be a female student enrolled in a Bachelors, Masters or PhD programme (or equivalent) in 2015/2016.
Be enrolled at a University in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa.
Citizens, permanent residents, and
international students are eligible to apply.

Be studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics, or a closely related technical field.

Maintain an excellent academic record (e.g. a First Class Honours degree).

A group of female Bachelors, Masters, and PhD student finalists will be chosen from the applicant pool.

The scholarship recipients will each receive a €7,000 (or equivalent) scholarship.

Application Deadline: The application for the Anita Borg Scholarship for the 2015-2016 academic year opens on October 15th, 2014 and close on February 2nd, 2015.
